Jiayi Wang-Zhao

Jiayi is broadly interested in developmental social cognition. Her current project investigates how children reason about magical events that conflict with the laws of the physical world. Jiayi received her B.A. in Psychology with honors and Japanese Language and Literature with honors, with a minor in Korean, from Boston University in 2022. Before joining CoCoDev, she worked as a research assistant in the Language and Cognition Lab at Stanford University as a CSLI intern, a summer research assistant at the Moral Psychology Research Lab at Harvard University, and an honors thesis student & lab manager at the Boston University Psycholinguistics Lab.
